Findings: The study reported a 4% complication rate in a predominantly older population with comorbidities. Progression and recurrence risks were assessed by EORTC group.

Points to consider: Five-year recurrence remained high. A single-center study without randomized comparison; it does not establish TULA as a replacement for TURBT in all patients. One author received biolitec educational funding.
